JOREY WORB
FOUNDER
Filmmaker
Jorey Worb is a director born in Toronto, Canada, who now calls Los Angeles home. She recently launched 21 GRAMS, a media company committed to telling heroic stories about mental health and true narratives about neurodiversity, at SXSW '24.
A Berklee College of Music graduate, Jorey began her career at Record Plant Recording Studio before transitioning to film and television. She sold her first TV show, GROUP, which tells the story of how she met her husband in group therapy, to WBTV. Starting as a music video director, she then transitioned to narrative film, writing and directing her first short film, BITE, starring Troian Bellisario, which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Her second short film, THE BLOOMS, starring Kathy Griffin, is scheduled to premiere in 2025. Jorey has a slate of TV and film projects focused on stories of resilience and heroism in the face of adversity.
Jorey's philanthropic efforts began at City of Hope’s Future Hope and MusicCares. She is now involved in Amani Children’s Home in Tanzania and runs the development committee for the United Friends of the Children NextGen Board, which aligns with her passion for serving youth and raising awareness about mental health.
In her spare time, Jorey speaks on mental health and teaches meditation.
